Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 July 2026
By using yer.ma you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
yer.ma shortens links. Anyone can shorten a link as a guest; guest links expire 30 days after their last visit. With a free account, links are kept until you delete them, and you get stats, QR codes and password protection. Custom aliases and API access are Pro features. The service is provided free and "as is".
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. Tell us at support@yer.ma if you think it's been compromised.
Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may disable any link and suspend or remove any account that breaks it, screens as malicious, or is reported and found to be abusive, with or without notice. Links reported as pointing to illegal material are suspended immediately, pending review, and confirmed illegal material is reported to the relevant authorities.
Availability and warranties
We work hard to keep redirects fast and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we provide it without warranties of any kind. Don't rely on yer.ma as the only record of an important link.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, or for where a shortened link leads: destinations are controlled by whoever created the link.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and disputes are subject to the courts of Scotland.
